Terms of Service
The expected terms for practitioner, clinic and client use of NutriScope, including product boundaries, secure use, bookings, payments and AI-assisted review.
Audience: Practitioners, clinics, clients and public booking visitors
These Terms describe how NutriScope may be used. They are written for the current MVP shape: client tracking, practitioner review, bookings, secure messaging, payment metadata and optional AI-assisted drafts.
Before production launch, replace or approve this draft with formal legal terms and add company registration, governing law, liability and contact details.
The Service
NutriScope provides software for nutrition professionals to invite clients, assign trackers, collect check-ins, manage bookings, keep records, exchange secure messages and prepare for sessions.
NutriScope is not an emergency monitoring system, medical-device workflow, autonomous decision system or replacement for professional judgement.
Accounts And Roles
- Practitioners and clinics are responsible for keeping account access secure.
- Clients should only use the portal for their own account and linked practitioner relationship.
- Users must provide accurate account details and keep contact information up to date.
- Shared logins are not allowed.
- Clinic or admin access to client data must be explicit and authorised.
Practitioner Responsibilities
Practitioners and clinics remain responsible for their client relationships, professional scope, record-keeping duties, privacy information, lawful basis decisions and client-facing advice.
- Use cautious language when reviewing attention signals, possible patterns and progress signals.
- Do not use NutriScope to make unsupported clinical claims or urgent escalation decisions.
- Do not upload data you are not authorised to hold in the platform.
- Review generated or draft content before relying on it.
- Respect client visibility settings and keep private notes private.
Client Portal Use
Clients use NutriScope to complete assigned check-ins, view selected trends, review plans, manage relevant bookings and message their practitioner. Clients should contact their practitioner directly for questions about their nutrition support, care plan or record content.
User Content And Records
Users retain responsibility for the information they enter, upload or send. NutriScope may process that information to provide the service, secure the platform, support users and meet legal obligations.
Production authenticated flows must use real persisted data, real actions or honest empty states. Users must not intentionally enter misleading, unlawful or unauthorised content.
AI-Assisted Features
AI-assisted features, if enabled, are designed to draft, summarise or highlight information for practitioner review. They may be incomplete or wrong and must not be treated as independent professional judgement.
- Practitioners must review generated output before using or sharing it.
- Clients should not treat generated text as direct advice unless their practitioner has reviewed and shared it.
- AI processing can require separate consent or notice depending on the final production legal model.
Bookings And Payments
Booking availability, session types, public page content, package descriptions, cancellation practices and client support commitments are controlled by the practitioner or clinic.
Where payment is enabled, checkout is handled through Stripe-hosted surfaces connected to the practitioner's Stripe account. NutriScope stores only the payment metadata needed to manage booking or package state.
Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to access another user's account or client record.
- Do not bypass relationship-based access controls.
- Do not place service-role keys, hook secrets, Stripe secrets or AI provider keys in frontend code or messages.
- Do not use the service for spam, unlawful monitoring, harassment or unauthorised data collection.
- Do not upload malware, intentionally harmful content or content you do not have rights to use.
Availability And Changes
NutriScope may change, improve or withdraw features as the MVP develops. Where a change materially affects privacy, payments, AI processing or client data access, it should receive product and compliance review before release.
Suspension And Account Closure
NutriScope may suspend access where needed to protect security, investigate misuse, comply with law or prevent harm to the service. Account closure, export and deletion processes should follow the privacy notice, DPA and retention schedule.
